Welcome to the Fairchild Channel F

The Fairchild Channel F (1976) was the first home video game console to use programmable ROM cartridges — the ancestor of every cartridge-based console that followed.

It uses the Fairchild F8 CPU running at ~1.79 MHz, with a unique 128×64 pixel display supporting 4 colors per scanline.

Quick Start

• A built-in demo is loaded by default
• Click INSERT CARTRIDGE to load a .bin ROM file
• Use Arrow keys + Z/X/A/S for Player 1
• Press 2 to Start, 1 to Reset
